State Level Workshop on “Exploring & Enhancing The Skills Of Critical Care Nursing”

A one day state level workshop was organized by Aditya college of Nursing, Bangalore. Topic of the workshop was “Exploring and Enhancing the Skills of critical Care nursing”.

Objective of the workshop was to build the confident level and students should able to practice evidenced based practice in critical care nursing and unit. Quality is always demanded in the field of critical care unit.

The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Shobha Ramakrishna , Principal, Aditya college of Nursing, Mrs. Monica, vice principal, H.O.D of Child Health Nursing,  Mrs. Hepzibha Keran, HOD of Community Health Nursing and final year of M.sc Nursing students.

The programme started with inaugural function graced by Mrs. Usha bhandhari KNC Register,Bangalore and Mrs. Bharathi, Principal, Karnataka college of Nursing.

The resource persons were Dr. Bindhu Mathew, HOD of medical and surgical Nursing from St. John Hospital, Bangalore. Mrs. Sunita Domingo, Chief nursing officer, Aster , Hebbal, Bangalore, Dr.Anniamma. C. Josheph, vice Principal, HOD of medical and surgical Nursing, Bangalore Baptist college, hospital, Bangalore, Dr. Metilda Vincent, Chief nursing officer, PESIMSR, Kuppam,A.P, and Mrs. Shobha Ramakrishna, Principal, Aditya college of Nursing.

We started with welcome address by Mrs. Monica, vice principal, H.O.D of Child Health Nursing followed by chief guest speech and observer speech, the programme was carry forwarded after felicitating the chief guest and observer. The scientific session are started by our resource persons there was 525 participants from 11 nursing colleges an hospital in an around Bangalore. After each session we felicitated the resource persons for a token of gratitude.

We ended our workshop by distributing certificates to the participants and posttest results followed by valedictory speech by Mrs. Hepzibha Keran, HOD of Community Health Nursing.
