DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING ORGANISED HEALTH EDUCATION AND ROLE PLAY ON “WORLD POPULATION DAY”.
THEME: “LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND, COUNT EVERYONE”.
Highlights of the session:
1. Introduction of population explosion and theme for the day was explained.
2. Role play was done by Final year students of Bsc. Nursing and GNM on “Advantages and Disadvantages of Large family and small Family”.
3. Mime was done by Final year students of Bsc. Nursing and GNM students on “Family Planning”
4. Health Education was given regarding “Population explosion, Problems due to early marriages and lack of education, Importance of Afforestation and Hazards of Deforestation, Increased food and waste demand.
5. Health checkups was done by Final year students of Bsc. Nursing and GNM students for Bp and Blood sugar level.
