Aditya College of Nursing V semester Bsc (N) students and VII semester Bsc(N) students conducted School Health Programme on 13-06-2026 at StoneHill Govt High School, Tharaunnise, Students in the primary high school, students from Ist standard to 7th standard participated in the programme.
Highlights of the Programme:
1.Health appraisal-Height ,weight, BMI and malnutrition grading,done along with identification of vision, hearing defects for suspected children.
2.health defects and disabilities identified for certain children and refereed to Bettahalsoor PHC.
3.Nutrition supplementation was given to students under Mid day meal scheme.
4.Health education was given on topics like personal hygiene, environmental hygiene, Menstrual hygiene, Good Habits-Bad Habits, Hazards of open field defecation,
5.Role play was performed on Good and Bad Habits, Hand wash techniques.
