The World Heart Day Programme was organized by Aditya College of Nursing on 29 September 2026 to create awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of adopting a heart-healthy lifestyle.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief guest, faculty members, students, and participants. The event highlighted the significance of World Heart Day and emphasized the importance of prevention, early identification, and management of cardiovascular diseases.
A special session was conducted by

Senior consultant Cardiologist,
Sparsh Hospital, Yelahanka.*
who provided valuable information about common heart diseases, risk factors, warning signs of heart attack, preventive measures, healthy dietary practices, physical activity, stress management, and the importance of regular health check-ups.
The programme also emphasized the important role of nurses in educating individuals, families, and communities about cardiovascular disease prevention.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The event was informative and interactive and successfully created awareness among the participants about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart.
